some times old people make my day...

Today at work an old man came in and made my day. When he drove up I remembered him from the last time he was in and couldn't help but smile. I don't remember many customers but I remembered him. I think the reason I remembered him was becuase hes really stinky and scruffy and wears old dirt overalls but drives a nice clean mercedes sports car and is the kindest old man I have every met.(besides my own two grandparents of course). this morning he came in to chat and I helped him fix a flashlight so he gave my a tip for my "kindness". Later this afternoon he came in again to buy some triple A batteries and to make sure I was still having a good day. when I told him "it was slow and that I was ready to go home" he said " you must be in need of a few jokes" so here they are....

"what did the Indan say when the dog fell of the cliff?"
- DOG GONE

"What did the fish say when he swam into the wall?"
-DAM

"Why don't the dinosaurs talk?"
-Because they are dead

HA HA HA I love old people.

So far this winter has been great, we have had very little rain and a lot of snow.

In December we went three full weeks without seeing the grass in our backyard. The first snow fall was about 6 inches that never melted so when it dumped a foot over the next weekend we measured 18 inches in our back yard. By the time the snow stopped falling we measured 26inches in our back yard.
While Raisa loved all the snow it took her a bit to figure out where to go to the bathroom, she also had a hard time finding the Kong after we would throw it to her. It was pretty cute.

Geoff and I really enjoyed playing in all the snow over the weekends, we went sledding and had a bonfire with some good friends, rode our quads, and went snow shoeing to the grocery store.

It's now been 2 and a half years since I first started this blog and I am just now posting for the first time. I don't know how good I will be at it but I am going to try my hardest to keep everyone up to date on whats been going on in the live of the Jarman's.

Geoff and I have been married for 2 and a half years now... (notice the length of time I have had this blog and how long we have been married. My intention was to start after the honeymoon, I guess I got a little behind on posting :) ) We bought a house right before we got married and are always finding new projects to do around the house to make it a house we enjoy living in. Some of the things we did the first week after we got the keys were, flooring, paint and bedroom furniture. Geoff and his brother pulled up the teal carpeting and laid new flooring while Kacie, Eryn and Megan painted over the lime green walls (I was at work). recently Geoff and i made the laundry room look more like the rest of the house by painting over the drywall and sealing the floor with epoxy. we got an electric fireplace for the back room (converted garage) and we are going to get a new big screen to put up on the wall so that we can make it into a game room. after that is all done we are going to get new carpet in the bedrooms and then if I get what I want we will re-do the Kitchen and then new siding on the house

Besides working on the house we have been keeping ourselves very busy with work. I am working for the family business and Geoff is teaching science at St. Helen's High School. He just got the job as Head Wrestling coach after being an assistant for 6 years. He also coaches football in the fall and golf in the spring.

now that everyone is caught up on us I will try to keep this up to date.
